Credit & Debit Card payments are collected using the services of SagePay. Most major Banks and financial institutions recommend SagePay as a SECURE payment provider for e-commerce trading. You can view SagePay Terms and Conditions of use at their Payment Gateway on our website. We also use 3D secure for applicable credit cards.

2. Contracts

When an order is placed at RC Hobby Centre, we will send you an email to confirm that this order has been received. However, this order only construes your offer to purchase a product from us. This offer is only formally accepted by RC Hobby Centre when we send you an email confirmation to inform you that your order has been dispatched by us. This email is also known as the Shipment Confirmation Email. Any orders which have not been confirmed by a Order Dispatched Confirmation email will not construe a contract.

3. Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order with us, in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations. The period in which you can exercise that right is 14 days beginning the day after your goods are received. The cancellation request has to be received by us in writing - by email or letter. The unused goods must be returned in perfect condition and unused, at the customer's expense, within 14 days after receipt of parcel (it also applies to products purchased as Christmas presents). Goods are refunded within 14 days of being recieved by us. Your item must be in unused condition and not opened to qualify for a full refund. A telephone call alone will not be accepted as a valid cancellation. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the items.

Where delivery has been made by our carrier we can arrange for them to collect the goods for return. Return deliveries will be charged at our standard rate. In the case of faulty goods we will reimburse you for delivery up to the equivalent of our OWN charges. Please ensure that you retain your proof of postage and the amout paid.

4. Supply of Goods outside the UK

Items delivered outside the European Union may be subject to Import Duties and Taxes levied on entry to the Country requested. We have no knowledge or control over these charges. It is your responsibility to establish the charges applicable with the Customs Authorities concerned and any charges must be borne by you.

5. Damaged Goods

Please see our [Returns Policy] for information on returning goods.

6. Faulty Goods

If you suspect a fault with your product please contact us immediately. If there is an obvious defect and the product needs to be returned, please notify us by email first to info@rchobbycentre.co.uk It is often a simply matter that can be sorted without you needing to return the complete item.

7. Shipping details

Please check your delivery address information before placing order.  We are not responsible for incorrect delivery or lost items due to the incorrect shipping information being given.

Customers may be charged an additional shipping fee of £10.00 for any refused or undelivered shipment due to customer's incorrect address entered on the website. Any order that needs to be re-shipped will be charged at the same shipping charges that apply to the original order.

8. Wrong Address Charges

1. When a customer enters an incorrect address our shipping carriers will charge us a £10.00 fee to locate the correct address so the package can be delivered. We will pass this charge on to the customer. This occurs very rarely and we will always attempt to contact the customer first before we ship the package if the address looks questionable.

2. An incorrect address that results in the order being lost - We cannot be held responsible if you enter an incorrect shipping address such that the package is shipped to another person/address and cannot be recovered. We will have to charge you the full order price again if you want the order shipped to the correct address. We cannot issue refunds for address mistakes that are out of our control.

9. Undeliverable & Refused Orders

A order refund minus any shipping fees will be given if a package is undeliverable or refused and returned to us.

If we send a package through our shipping carrier, and they are unable to deliver the package to you after multiple attempts, then our shipper will charge us a £10.00 fee to return the package to us. We will have to in turn charge that fee to the customer. This is also true if a package arrives at your door and is refused. We treat both of these instances as a "product return" and your money will be refunded for the purchase price of the order minus any incoming and outgoing shipping charges incurred to ship your package and receive a refused or undeliverable package by our shipper.

Please note that undeliverable packages rarely occur and we will always make attempts to contact you first before initiating a return or charging any fee. We encourage customers to always double-check their shipping address and be aware of any tracking information we send via email. If a customer uses a trackable delivery option, the tracking number will be available to you if required.

If the incorrect address used is due to any fault of ours and can be proven, then a full refund will be given for the original order amount including shipping costs.

10. Returning Goods

Please see our [Returns Policy] for information on returning goods.
